About Margaret

Margaret is an interdisciplinary artist living with her family in the Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta. Her work includes handmade jewelry, pottery and contemporary painting.  As a deep lover of art and expression, Margaret has long enjoyed the variety of ways that art can shape us.  Margaret seeks to add meaning and beauty to everyday moments and places through her work.  She draws on natural materials, moments of connection, as well as the wide variety of visual inspiration that comes from living in a big city.  In her work she is consistently drawn to the emotions, connections, tensions, and paradoxes that we all experience as humans. She believes art can communicate some of those deeper realities when words fall short. Many of her works are deeply personal, but she also enjoys collaborating with clients to make unique and meaningful pieces for their space.
